FAQ

• What is appropriate class attire?

Pre-Ballet/Ballet/Pointe: leotard and tights are required for all ballet classes as well as actual ballet shoes (ballet house slippers are not acceptable).

Tap: leotards and tights, dance/jazz pants or cheer style shorts are acceptable for tap classes. Tap shoes required.

Jazz: leotards and tights, dance/jazz pants or cheer style shorts are acceptable for jazz classes as well as jazz shoes. All clothes must be form fitting so teacher can adequately assess movements and for student safety reasons.

Creative Movement: comfortable, easy to move in clothing with any dance shoes (excluding tap) or bare feet.

• Rules

• A non-refundable $35.00 registration/recital fee, $5.00 for each additional sibling, must accompany each registration and be paid prior to the first class.

• No jewelry of a loose or loud nature. Hair must be pulled back off of the
student’s face.

• NO CHEWING GUM IN CLASS

• Students MUST have proper dance attire. Tights, leotards and proper shoes must
be worn. JEANS AND REGULAR SHORTS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.

• Only students are allowed in the studio during classes. Your teacher will invite
parents in when appropriate. This is to cut down on distractions to the students.
The door must remain shut while class is in session.

• In case of bad weather, call 222-5836 and a recording will let you know if class is
still in session. Your teacher will let you know about make-up classes if needed.

• There will be no refunds of tuition when paying by the year or by 9 week
sessions. Tuition is due the first week of every 9 week session. There will be a
one week grace period for late payment. Each additional week there will be a
$5.00 charge per week.
